In The Middle Of Nowhere

Life is beautiful

in winter.

That very moment when dawn starts to break

Somewhere lights are clicked on

Fresh roasted coffee begins to brew

Strong and steamy

The dawning of a brand new day

It is time to rise

To head out in the mist and snow

At that very first light

What a beautiful morning!

  1. I feel the same here. I know I get up extremely early, but you miss so much if you don’t!

    1. There’s a beauty when everything is first awakening

      1. That’s the way I feel. Waking before the birds begin their various songs is especially fun. It’s like listening to them tune up.

      2. Whenever I take a trip to another state and I leave about 4 -5 AM, I love the look of everything just as the sky starts to light up

      3. I used to. I do miss traveling. Such beauty everywhere at that hour!

      4. I know my body cannot take that long distance driving/traveling anymore. It is wearing on the body.

      5. I used to travel by train a lot, too. I’m too old for all of it now.

  2. I find the snowfall much more enjoyable when I don’t have to travel in it πŸ™‚ Prettier from the comfort of my chair, accompanied by my furkids, a warm blanket, and generous amounts of coffee.

Beautifully pictured in your words πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž
